Linde Material Handling presents new warehouse vehicles
Linde Material Handling has added two new warehouse trucks to its range of solutions for specific warehouse and production scenarios.
The L12L, L14L and L12LHP double deck loaders and the P30C and P50C electric platform tractor are now available.
The L12L, L14L and L12LHP double deck loader passenger vehicles are highly recommendable, not least due to their compact design. The vehicle including the fork shoulders (l2 dimension) measures 892 millimetres and is easy to manoeuvre and turn, even in tight spaces. These advantages are especially beneficial when loading and unloading lorries with a loading area that is wider than the ramp.
The double deck loaders are available in two different versions: the L12L and L14L models have a lifting capacity of 1.2 and 1.4 tonnes respectively and a 4-point bearing surface (two wheels beneath the fork arms and two more beneath the operating unit). This design makes the vehicles particularly stable, even when lifting peak loads to the maximum height of 3824 millimetres. This vehicle's battery is changed vertically as standard; horizontal changing is available as an option. The L12L HP model has a lifting capacity of 1.2 tonnes and is designed for tasks that place high demands on both stability and traction, in particular when loading and unloading lorries on ramps. The vehicle is equipped with hydraulically damped active side stabilisers to offset ground unevenness. Its lift height is sufficient to reach rack heights of up to 1924 millimetres.
Automatic speed reduction when cornering, a clear view through the mast and automatic brake activation when the drive switch is released ensure safe operation in all three models. When the emergency stop button is activated, the electro-hydraulic brake responds in proportion to the load; in other words, braking is adapted to the load being carried, protecting both operator and goods.

A 3kW three-phase A.C. motor with a top speed of 6 km/h with or without load, an operating unit fitted with Linde Load Control for sensitive lifting and lowering and the vehicle's compact dimensions ensure productive operation, even in tight spaces. The driver can also adjust the steering resistance to suit his personal requirements, enabling him to react to specific conditions, e.g. limited space. Generous storage compartments help the driver to organise his workplace. A glance at the digital multi-function display unit is all it takes for the operator to see the key vehicle stats such as battery charge, number of operating hours and when the next maintenance service is due.
The P30C und P50C tractor models are powered by 3 KW three-phase A.C. motors and designed for narrow gangways. Their area of application includes sequence-controlled delivery to and collection from production, for example. One particular benefit for the operator is that he can reach the towing gear behind the rear guard from the driver's standing platform without having to leave the vehicle. Additional comfort is provided by
a U-shaped cushioned unit consisting of operating console, adjustable backrest and driver's standing platform; it is detached from the chassis and takes the strain off the driver on long journeys or when driving on uneven surfaces. The robust Linde steering unit is not only equipped with ergonomic grips and hand protection, its compact design ensures the driver remains within the vehicle contour whatever steering movement is made.
All five vehicle models have a CAN bus structure, which allows the engineer to read out all the vehicle data on a laptop when the vehicle is serviced. The matrix design concept is another common feature. According to this concept, each device is assembled from three units: a drive unit, a load unit and an operating unit. The ability to combine different models leads to application-specific vehicles with all the known advantages of large-scale production such as reliability, quality and short delivery times.
