Linde Material Handling has added reach trucks with super elastic tyres (SE) to its range with immediate effect.
Models R14 G to R20 G, designed for 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0 tonne loads, can be used both in external areas with frequently uneven or wet driving surfaces, and also in internal areas. This makes them ideal for applications in the construction material trade for example, where shelving is typically found in the open air, or in industrial and commercial areas where reach fork lift trucks, in addition to use in warehouses, also manage the loading and unloading of lorries in yards and on ramps.
Linde Material Handling has now added three reach trucks with super elastic tyres (SE) to its range. Models R14 G to R20 G, designed for 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0 tonne loads, can not only be used in both indoor and outdoor applications.

The new reach truck models from Linde offer a wide range of benefits. The new damping system for the drive unit is a particular highlight. The solution Linde has developed means the drive unit is decoupled from the chassis by a rubber suspension and shocks caused by uneven surfaces are cushioned. A combination of super elastic wheels on the loading tyres and solid rubber tyres on the driving wheel enhances driving comfort. The solid rubber tyres not only provide increased protection for the driving wheel with regard to heavier loads, they also minimize wear and provide the user with increased lifting capacity and good traction quality. At the same time, the damped drive unit ensures that uneven surfaces are cushioned. Internal tests carried out by Linde have shown that shocks are equalized quickly, which makes driving more pleasant for the user and reduces human vibrations on the body.
The robust structure of the chassis protects the driver, engine and control unit and also provides service engineers with easy access to components. Driving and load wheels are larger than those on the standard version of the reach truck; this, combined with the lower centre of gravity in the three new models, also contributes to good stability and high residual capacities.
The new reach trucks with Linde SE tyres are multi-purpose, for example they can be used for both loading and unloading lorries.

The three established "ergonomic benchmarks" in the Linde reach truck series provide comfort for the driver: steering wheel position and resistance, seat position and seat height (up to 150 millimeters), as well as lordosis support can be individually adjusted. The trucks are also fitted with a new digital display, which ensures that all important vehicle data is readily available for the user. With Linde dual-pedal control and the electronic control of the lift mast functions (Linde Load Control), two proven technologies are available for simple, safe vehicle control and sensitive, accurate load handling.
The lift mast of the reach ft trucks with SE tyres tilts for improved loading, reaches lift heights of 7455 millimeters and has high residual capacities. With a lifting speed of up to 0.66 meters per second, the loads reach the required heights. This is made possible by the three phase AC lift motor with 14 kW. The reach truck is both vertically and horizontally speedy in transit: with the aid of its 6.5 kW three phase AC drive motor, the truck accelerates to 12.5 kilometers an hour.
