Linde MH at GSE Expo Europe 2026
Keeping Pace with the Aviation Industry
Every day, the period between the cargo gate and the aircraft determines how punctually and efficiently the aviation industry operates. At the same time, the pressure on ground staff is growing noticeably: The industry expects to set a new record in 2026 with approximately 5.2 billion passengers worldwide. By 2050, global passenger demand is expected to more than double, while cargo volume will rise in parallel.
Anyone who wants to remain successful in this environment needs a partner who is thoroughly familiar with the key processes. To this end, Linde Material Handling combines agile vehicles, intelligent assistance systems, digital fleet management, and expert advice into a cohesive, comprehensive solution.
Everything from a single source
From baggage handling and heavy cargo to automated towing, Linde Material Handling offers the right solution for every ground handling task. Combined with safety, ergonomics, and energy concepts, this creates a comprehensive portfolio of solutions from a single source. Through an international sales and service network, Linde MH ensures that these solutions are reliably available worldwide at airports and air cargo hubs in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and beyond.

Our Trade Show Highlights: Four Solutions for Airport Logistics
P250 Automated Tow Tractor
Where transport routes are repetitive and personnel resources are limited, the automation of towing tasks offers great potential. The P250 automated tow tractor moves luggage and heavy cargo with a towing capacity of up to 25 metric tons along predefined routes. A laser scanner integrated into the vehicle handles navigation within the environment. The automation solution was developed in collaboration with technology partner Götting KG.
Xi Roadster Electric Counterbalanced Forklift
In cargo terminals, warehouses, and on the tarmac, visibility and quick response times are key to safe and efficient operations. This is exactly where the Linde Xi Roadster shines. Whether loading and unloading aircraft or transporting palletized goods, the Roadster’s distinctive Linde design—featuring overhead tilt cylinders—eliminates the need for an A-pillar, giving the operator virtually unrestricted all-around visibility. This ensures that the path, load, and surroundings remain in full view at all times, even when handling bulky cargo units. The permanently integrated lithium-ion battery creates additional space in the cab. The Linde combination steering axle ensures high maneuverability and stability.
W20 Electric Platform Truck with Luggage Trailer
Every second counts when loading between terminals, baggage halls, and aircraft. With a two-metric-ton payload and a top speed of up to 20 km/h, the W20 platform truck reliably transports large volumes of baggage to their destination. A driver’s cab decoupled from the chassis and a drive axle with coil springs effectively shield the driver from shocks and vibrations, while the precise steering allows for effortless maneuvering in the tightest of spaces. Two AC drive motors provide the power needed for fast and reliable transport, powered either by a lithium-ion or lead-acid battery.
myLinde
In airport operations, the availability of each individual vehicle determines the punctuality of entire handling processes. The myLinde fleet management system combines administration, usage monitoring, safety, and energy management in a cloud-based portal and provides transparent data on usage, service, and utilization of the entire fleet. Thanks to its modular design, myLinde adapts flexibly to the requirements of international hubs.
