Linde Material Handling cancels LogiMAT participation

3 Mar 2020

Safety first

Health and safety have priority: Linde Material Handling will not be taking part in the intralogistics trade fair LogiMAT this year. The reason for this is the coronavirus, which is spreading ever faster. Instead, new products, innovations and solutions will be presented at the "World of Material Handling" in June.

"Linde Material Handling has stood for the greatest possible safety for decades. The health and well-being of customers and employees is always our top priority", says Andreas Krinninger, Chairman of the Board of Management Linde Material Handling.

At a major event such as LogiMAT, he says, one cannot rule out the possibility that visitors to the trade fair or stand crew could become infected with the corona virus SARS-CoV-2. Andreas Krinninger: "We have therefore decided to cancel our participation in the trade fair."

The solution portfolio originally planned for LogiMAT is now to be presented to customers instead at the "World of Material Handling" in Mannheim in June. Linde Material Handling is co-organising the industry event on the Maimarktgelaende; exhibitors include more than 20 companies (including Dematic) from the intralogistics sector.
