Indestructible and Versatile Outdoors
With their tough construction and large outdoor tires, the LT16 Ch/BMh logistic train trailers are the perfect solution for transporting goods outdoors. They are designed to travel long distances and can cope with even the most difficult ground conditions. Thanks to the robust two-axle-design, the tugger trains can transport loads of up to 1.6 tonnes. Two different trailer variants are available: the Ch frame with forks and BMh frame with adjustable middle supports. Both variants are equipped with a hydraulic lifting function. With both trailers, different types of load can be transported on corresponding trolleys, for example pallets, pallet cages, or larger containers. The optional overrun brakes enable maximum performance, even on steep terrain.

Safety
To secure the goods being transported, the LT16 Ch/BMh are equipped with an immobilizer. It prevents operators from moving the logistic train with the loading frame lowered. During operation, the trailer lowering mechanism is deactivated. Each loading frame has mechanical load locking to hold the load securely in place during travel. The frames are equipped with heavy-duty super elastic wheels (SE wheels), measuring 368 mm in diameter and 115 mm in width. They absorb shocks and vibrations and ensure that the LT16 Ch/BMh can also handle extremely uneven ground and potholes. Optional overrun brakes mean that the vehicle can be operated safely on steep slopes. Equipment options for lighting and weather protection provide additional safety and protection.

Ergonomics
The ergonomic features of the LT16 Ch/BMh make load handling as comfortable as possible. The loading frames are loaded and unloaded at ground level, which relieves the operator and reduces the risk of physical strain from repeated lifting and lowering of the load. The loading frames are locked automatically after insertion. The unlocking mechanism is mounted at an ergonomic height and can be operated conveniently using a foot. This minimizes the strain on the operator, particularly when they are having to unlock often. The Ch frame for the logistic train has an ergonomic ejection mechanism that pushes the load away from the back of the fork as soon as the driver releases the lock by foot.

Handling
The trailers feature mechanical all-wheel steering, which makes the LT16 Ch/BMh extremely precise to control. The tugger trains therefore boast small turning circles, directional stability, and tipping stability. The automatic lifting function saves a lot of time: If the driver gets into the towing vehicle, the loading frames are automatically raised for transport. If they leave the truck, these are lowered again. The BMh frames can be loaded and unloaded from both sides, making the process flexible and convenient. The middle supports can be moved to transport different sized loads with one frame. This is also possible with the Ch frames thanks to the adjustable forks. Optional connecting hoses with stopcock ensure that the trailers can be unhitched from the towing vehicle, even when lifted.

Servicing
The LT16 Ch/BMh are optimized for reliability and low maintenance. The simple frame design of the trailers requires only a few components, which minimizes service costs and keeps maintenance costs low. The trailers’ two-axle-design is easily accessible for the service technician. The tiller and coupling system is almost wear-free. In addition, the maintenance intervals for the trailers and towing vehicle can be synchronized, therefore reducing downtimes.

Weather Protection
A tarpaulin roof, which can be pulled over the frame, is available for both the Ch and BMh frame. It can be opened on one side for the Ch frame and on both sides for the BMh frame.
Rear Lights
There is a four-function LED taillight set with magnetic holder and two lights (indicator, taillights, brake lights, license plate light) available in clear glass. The casing is waterproof and certified to e4 and ISO 1724.
Rotating Beacon
There is a flashing light on the trailer, which serves as a warning light so that the logistic train is visible, even in the dark.
Overrun Brake
Mechanical braking system combined with a drum brake for traveling on ramps and particularly downhill stretches. This means that the vehicle is safe to drive, even with the maximum load.
Mud Flaps
The tires can be equipped with mud flaps to avoid contamination in indoor areas.
Light Tires
The frames are equipped with dark heavy-duty SE wheels (368x115) as standard. Light, non-marking wheels are also available as an option.
Additional Lifting Height
The standard lifting height of the trailers is 80 mm. The frames can be supplied with a lifting height of 115 mm for special applications.
Walk-Through Protection
The space between the frames can be secured with a safety strap to prevent people from stepping over the trailer tiller. The strap can also be retrofitted.
Increased Payload
It is possible to increase the payload of the Ch frame to up to four tons.
Connecting hose with stopcock
If the stopcock is closed when the frames are lifted, the frames will remain in this position to make it easy to unhitch the towing vehicle.
Trolleys

Logistic Train Controller
The tugger train guidance system coordinates the driving orders and provides the drivers with the optimal routes. The software dashboard shows all essential information at a glance and can be used to generate analyses for process optimization.
