Warning Systems and Light Solutions

Visibly Safer

Conditions aren’t always perfect for the use of industrial trucks. This is particularly true of poorly lit areas and wherever people and machines work in close proximity, which means an increased risk of accidents and reduced productivity. It is therefore important to ensure that the driver’s view is as good as possible and that trucks are readily visible.

This is where Linde Material Handling’s light and warning systems come in. Innovative light solutions like Linde VertiLight and LED Stripes provide optimum illumination of the work area and enable safe, precise handling. Visual warning systems like Linde BlueSpot and Linde TruckSpot also make industrial trucks visible from a distance and warn pedestrians in good time.

Light Solutions: Optimum Visibility in Every Work Situation

Having the right amount of light in the right place at the right time is essential to ensure safe, efficient work conditions in poorly lit storage areas or at dusk. Linde Material Handling offers sophisticated light concepts to handle even the most challenging visibility conditions.

Linde VertiLight

Thanks to its semi-circular design, this light option provides large-area, uniform illumination from the floor to higher rack levels, while minimizing reflection and glare.

Available for: Counterbalanced forklift trucks, reach trucks

Linde LED Stripes

The two-color light strips of the Linde LED Stripes are attached to the front and rear of the truck and illuminate the respective direction of travel. If the truck is moving forwards, they light up white. If it is reversing, they light up red.

Available for: Counterbalanced trucks

LED Work Headlights

The LED work headlights are extremely energy-efficient and provide extensive illumination of the work area. At the same time, they minimize the risk of glare for oncoming traffic and pedestrians.

Available for: Counterbalanced forklift trucks, reach trucks

Glare-free Work Headlights

Thanks to their special anti-glare lens, the glare-free work headlights improve visibility for the driver, while minimizing the risk of glare for people in the working environment at the same time. This makes them the ideal driving light for applications that do not require road approval.

Available for: Counterbalanced trucks

Truck Lighting

With two front headlights with indicators, LED rear lights including brake and direction indicators, and reflectors, the truck is visible from all sides. Inside the truck, cab lighting ensures good working conditions, while an additional light above the load makes handling easier.

Visual Warning Systems: Safety that Catches the Eye

In noisy working environments, purely acoustic warning devices are only effective up to a point. This is why Linde Material Handling is stepping up its focus on visual warning systems that increase the visibility of industrial trucks and warn people in the vicinity in good time.

Rotating Beacon

The rotating beacon is mounted on the overhead guard and its flashing light warns people in the vicinity that the truck is approaching. It can be individually adjusted depending on the work situation: It can flash constantly, be activated only when reversing, or simply be operated via an on/off switch.

Available for: Counterbalanced trucks

Flashing Warning Light

The optional flashing warning light is attached to the overhead guard. The high-visibility flashing signals ensure increased visibility of the truck in poorly lit areas such as warehouses or during night shifts.

Red Warning Lines

The warning system projects red—or blue if preferred—safety lines onto the ground to the left and right of the truck. There is also the option of projecting a third light strip behind the truck. This makes it easy for pedestrians to see at a glance how much distance they need to maintain.

Available for: Counterbalanced forklift trucks, reach trucks, very narrow aisle trucks

Linde BlueSpot

An LED light mounted on the overhead guard projects a blue dot—or red if preferred—onto the ground as standard to warn that the truck is approaching.

Available for: Counterbalanced forklift trucks, reach trucks, warehouse trucks, very narrow aisle trucks

Linde TruckSpot

The warning signal solution projects a clearly recognizable symbol onto the ground in front of the forklift truck and warns pedestrians and other trucks about the moving truck.

Available for: Counterbalanced forklift trucks, reach trucks.

Stationary Warning Projector

Installed at intersections, passageways or rack exits, the stationary warning projector projects a yellow warning symbol onto the floor to warn trucks and pedestrians of hazards.
