Seeing and being seen when working with industrial trucks is fundamental for safety, but also for efficiency. The right light at the right time in the right place is an essential prerequisite for this. However, many lighting systems for forklift trucks cannot serve this purpose. They illuminate the working area only at certain points and often leave the edges dark, reflections from the mast or load dazzle the driver even more. With the Linde VertiLight and Linde LED Stripes, Linde Material Handling offers two innovative lighting concepts that solve these problems. Both provide optimum illumination of the working area and enable safe, precise and efficient work even in the case of poor hall lighting.
VertiLight – Optimum illumination thanks to innovative design
In contrast to conventional headlights, the Linde VertiLight illuminates the working area over a large area thanks to its half-circular design with a wide light band and seven ideally arranged LEDs. The LEDs distribute the light uniformly from the floor to the upper edge of the shelf and improve visibility of the shelf, load and forks.
The illumination angle of counterbalance and reach trucks can be individually adjusted via the holder to adapt the lighting to any application in the warehouse, hall or production area. Ideal for high rack use: With the reach truck, the diagonal arrangement of the two headlamps additionally increases the illumination range.
The special arrangement of the LEDs and the comfortable light colour of VertiLight reduce glare and ensure greater safety in internal traffic. Opposite vehicles and pedestrians are less dazzled, the driver himself is not irritated by reflective goods or truck interiors. Since the VertiLight is attached to the side of the mast, there is no distracting light reflection on the mast.

LED Stripes: Optimized illumination for front and rear
The Linde LED Stripes provide optimum safety conditions at the front and rear of the vehicle: The two-colour light strips illuminate the direction of travel of the truck with white light. If the direction of travel changes, they automatically change the light colour from white to red. Pedestrians and other vehicles can thus see from a distance in which direction the truck is moving - which further increases safety in warehouse traffic.
The LED Stripes are attached to the mast and rear of the vehicle and illuminate the close working area just as evenly and extensively as the VertiLight. This enables safe, precise and efficient work in any environment.
As with the VertiLight, Linde's innovative lighting concept minimises glare for oncoming vehicles and pedestrians and allows the driver to work efficiently in the hall. Both lighting solutions have an impressive service life of up to 20,000 hours.
