Precise lifting movements are the key to ergonomic load handling. That's why the D12 HP SP is equipped with the Linde OptiLift. The unit of operator platform and control handle is completely decoupled from the chassis and fully suspended. This absorbs vibrations and shocks and guarantees comfortable, stress-free working. At the same time, the height-adjustable steering can be adapted to the physical requirements of the operator. Maneuvering is possible without much effort thanks to the electric power steering. Travel speed and steering resistance are automatically and continuously adjusted to the steering angle. In the D12 HP SP, the operator stands at a 45° angle to the fork direction. This gives him a good view of his surroundings in any direction of travel without straining his back and neck with excessive turning movements. On request, the vehicles can be equipped with the innovative Linde e-driver control system. It is optimized for the 45° standing position, contains all important control functions and can be operated with one hand. A multifunction display provides the driver with all important information.

The high-performance D12 HP SP models reach a top speed of 14 km/h without load. When traveling with two pallets, the powerful 3 kW three-phase AC motor enables up to 7.5 km/h. A powerful lift motor provides more speed when lifting and lowering the load, which noticeably improves performance when handling pallets. For more performance with double-deck loading, the D12 HP SP can be equipped with Linde Speed Management. A start-up assistant prevents unintentional rolling backwards on sloping ground. Consistent traction and stability, especially when traversing ramps or uneven ground, are provided by a 5-point configuration with optional electrically controlled and hydraulically operated castor wheels on both sides, as well as a center-mounted drive wheel. The D12 HP SP can be equipped with a new generation of Li-ION batteries, for which a corresponding on-board charger is also available. In addition, the trucks are available with a shorter battery compartment in combination with a 6 kWh Li-ION battery. The shorter wheelbase reduces the turning radius and makes the truck ideal for use in tight spaces.

The electric motor of the D12 HP SP is maintenance-free thanks to modern three-phase AC technology, which ensures high availability and minimizes service costs. The robust cladding parts and a stable chassis ensure reliability even under tough operating conditions. The vehicle was developed on the premise of "design to service". This means that service technicians have quick access to all relevant components. Via CAN bus all vehicle data can be accessed via a diagnostic connector. The trucks modern electric-electronic architecture allows software updates and new functions to be remotely installed at any time when the truck is equipped with the optional data transfer unit.
